Free Discovery Visit

Because choosing the right training environment matters

Athletes new to Athletic Advantage can schedule a free 30-minute discovery visit to meet with one of our coaches, discuss training goals, and determine the best performance program for their needs.

During the visit we will:

  • learn about the athlete’s sport and training history

  • perform a brief movement screen

  • discuss goals and upcoming sport seasons

  • recommend the appropriate academy and training frequency

This visit helps ensure every athlete begins their training with a clear plan.

Performance Academies

Structured training designed to help young athletes build strength, confidence, and long-term athletic development.

  • At Athletic Advantage, our Performance Academies provide a structured environment where athletes can develop the physical qualities required for success in sport.

    While many young athletes spend countless hours practicing skills, very few receive consistent guidance on how to develop the physical foundation that supports those skills. Strength, power, coordination, and movement quality are often left to chance.

    Our academies are designed to change that.

    Through individualized programming, small-group coaching, and structured training seasons, athletes develop the strength and athleticism necessary to perform at a higher level and remain durable throughout their sport seasons.

  • Young athletes today often experience two extremes.

    Some athletes rely solely on sport practices and games to develop physically, which can lead to plateaus in strength and increased injury risk. Others jump between random workouts or generalized fitness programs that aren’t designed for their age, sport, or stage of development.

    Neither approach produces consistent long-term progress.

    The Performance Academies provide a clear developmental path, helping athletes improve in a way that supports both their current sport season and their long-term athletic potential.

  • Every athlete who joins the academy begins with a personal assessment.

    During this initial session, we evaluate:

    • movement mechanics and coordination

    • baseline strength and athletic capacity

    • sport demands and training history

    • upcoming competition schedules and goals

    Using this information, we design a personalized training program for the athlete.

    Athletes then perform their individualized program within a small group training environment (maximum of eight athletes per session) while an Athletic Advantage coach supervises and provides instruction.

    This structure allows athletes to receive individualized training while benefiting from the motivation and energy of training alongside peers.

  • Our academies operate in three-month training seasons, allowing athletes to build momentum and progress over time.

    Each season aligns with the natural rhythm of the sports calendar:

    • Winter Season: December – February

    • Spring Season: March – May

    • Summer Season: June – August

    • Fall Season: September – November

    Athletes commit to the full season but are billed monthly to make participation manageable.

    New athletes may begin at any time during the season on a pro-rated basis, provided space is available.

  • The final week of each season includes reassessments to evaluate each athlete’s progress.

    We measure improvements in areas such as:

    • strength and power development

    • movement quality

    • coordination and control

    • overall athletic capacity

    These results allow us to update each athlete’s individualized program for the next training season should they choose to continue.

    This process ensures that training remains progressive, purposeful, and tailored to the athlete’s development.

  • The High School Performance Academy is designed for athletes who want to improve their physical preparation for sport.

    Training focuses on developing:

    • strength and power

    • speed and explosiveness

    • movement efficiency

    • injury resilience

    • confidence in the weight room

    This program is ideal for athletes who are serious about improving performance and preparing their bodies for the demands of high school and collegiate competition.

  • The Middle School Performance Academy introduces younger athletes to structured training in a safe and supportive environment.

    The focus at this stage is developing:

    • proper movement mechanics

    • coordination and body control

    • foundational strength

    • confidence with training

    Athletes learn how to train correctly while building a foundation that supports future performance development in high school and beyond.

  • Athletes select a weekly training frequency that fits their schedule and sport demands.

    4 sessions per week — $899 per season
    3 sessions per week — $799 per season
    2 sessions per week — $699 per season
    1 session per week — $599 per season

    Athletes are billed monthly during the season for convenience.

  • Athletes new to Athletic Advantage begin with a free Performance Discovery Visit, where we meet the athlete, discuss goals, and determine the most appropriate academy and training frequency.

    From there, athletes can join the current academy season and begin their personalized training program.

Athletic Foundations

Helping young athletes build the movement skills that support every sport.

  • The Athletic Foundations program is designed for elementary-aged athletes who are beginning their athletic journey.

    At this stage, the goal is not intense strength training or sport specialization. Instead, young athletes benefit most from developing a wide range of fundamental movement skills that support long-term athletic development.

    Through structured, high-energy classes, athletes learn how to move well, build confidence in their bodies, and develop the coordination and control that will support them as they grow into more competitive sports environments.

  • Many young athletes today begin playing organized sports before they have developed the basic movement skills that support those activities.

    Without a strong foundation, athletes may struggle with:

    • coordination and balance

    • body control and spatial awareness

    • safe jumping and landing mechanics

    • change-of-direction movements

    These skills form the base for nearly every sport.

    The Athletic Foundations program focuses on building those essential abilities in a way that is both age-appropriate and engaging.

  • Classes emphasize the development of fundamental athletic skills such as:

    • running mechanics

    • jumping and landing control

    • balance and coordination

    • agility and change-of-direction movement

    • basic strength and body control

    Athletes also learn how to follow instruction, work within a group environment, and develop confidence in physical activity.

    The goal is to create a positive early experience with structured training that supports long-term participation in sport and physical activity.

  • Athletic Foundations classes are coach-led and pre-programmed, ensuring that each session provides a balance of skill development, movement exploration, and engaging activities.

    Classes are designed to be:

    • energetic and fun

    • appropriately challenging for young athletes

    • structured while still encouraging creativity and play

    Athletes train alongside peers in a supportive environment where coaches guide proper movement and reinforce positive habits.

  • Athletic Foundations operates as a monthly membership, allowing families the flexibility to participate as often as they like.

    Athletes may attend multiple sessions per week based on interest and availability.

    Membership: $129 per month
    Unlimited class attendance

  • The Athletic Foundations program helps young athletes develop the physical skills and confidence needed to transition into more structured athletic development programs as they grow.

    Many athletes eventually progress into our Middle School Performance Academy, where training becomes more individualized and sport-focused.

  • New athletes are encouraged to begin with a free Performance Discovery Visit, where we meet the athlete, learn about their sports interests, and determine whether the Athletic Foundations program is the right fit.

  • While most athletes train within our Performance Academies, Athletic Advantage also offers several customized training options for athletes or teams with specific needs.

    These services are designed to complement our academy programming and are scheduled around existing academy and Athletic Foundations sessions.

    Availability for these services may vary based on facility scheduling.

    Our coaching staff can help determine which training option best fits an athlete’s goals and schedule.

  • One-on-one training provides athletes with fully individualized coaching focused on specific goals such as:

    • strength development

    • return-to-training after injury

    • sport-specific performance goals

    • technique refinement

    • additional accountability and coaching

    Private training sessions are tailored to the athlete’s needs and scheduled based on coach and facility availability.

  • Small group training allows athletes with similar goals to train together while still receiving focused coaching.

    These sessions are ideal for:

    • teammates who want to train together

    • athletes who prefer a shared training environment

    • off-season groups preparing for upcoming seasons

    $40 per athlete per session

    Small group sessions are scheduled based on facility availability and group size.

  • Athletic Advantage works with teams and organizations looking for structured strength and performance training.

    Team training sessions can be designed to support:

    • off-season strength development

    • pre-season preparation

    • in-season maintenance
