Affiliate Instructors are independent baseball and softball coaches who use Athletic Advantage's facilities to provide private instruction. Unlike traditional Athletic Advantage employees, affiliates operate their own instructional services, establish their own rates, manage their own schedules, and collect payments directly from their clients.

Approved instructors can reserve training space at Athletic Advantage to conduct private or small-group lessons. Instructors pay Athletic Advantage a facility-use fee for their reservations and retain the revenue collected from their clients. Specific reservation procedures, facility-use fees, and operating guidelines are provided during onboarding.

Yes! Affiliate Instructors determine their own pricing, availability, and lesson offerings. Facility reservations are subject to availability and Athletic Advantage's scheduling policies.

Not necessarily. While instructors are encouraged to develop and maintain their own client relationships, Athletic Advantage may also feature approved affiliates on our website and recommend instructors to families seeking baseball or softball instruction. Client referrals and bookings are not guaranteed.

We're looking for knowledgeable, dependable instructors with relevant baseball or softball playing, coaching, or instructional experience. All approved affiliates must also complete SafeSport training, pass a background screening, maintain appropriate liability insurance, and agree to Athletic Advantage's athlete protection and facility-use policies.

Yes. Because affiliates operate independently, each instructor must maintain appropriate liability and professional insurance, including additional-insured protection for Athletic Advantage. Individual instructor policies are often available for a few hundred dollars annually. We'll provide guidance on coverage requirements and potential insurance providers during onboarding.

Potentially! In addition to independent private instruction, Athletic Advantage occasionally works with coaches to deliver its own baseball and softball programs. These opportunities are managed separately from the Affiliate Instructor Program and may involve different responsibilities and compensation arrangements.

There is no fee to submit an interest form. Approved instructors are responsible for their own training, insurance, and applicable screening expenses, along with facility-use fees when conducting lessons. There is no guaranteed minimum number of lessons or facility reservations.
