What is HitTrax?
HitTrax is a cutting-edge baseball and softball performance technology that brings the excitement of live-action gameplay into a data-driven environment. Utilizing high-speed cameras and advanced sensors, HitTrax captures every hit and swing in real-time, providing players with immediate, accurate feedback on their performance. This powerful tool offers detailed metrics such as launch angle, exit velocity, distance, and projected ball flight, giving athletes the insights they need to refine their skills and track their progress. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, HitTrax adds a whole new dimension to practice and training.
HitTrax takes batting practice to the next level by turning every session into an opportunity for growth. The system not only records individual swings but also allows players to simulate live-game scenarios and compete in interactive leagues. With its integration of real-time data, HitTrax enhances player development by highlighting areas of improvement and fostering a competitive spirit.
How Does a League Work?
In the HitTrax League, players focus solely on hitting, with no defense or pitching involved. Each game is played in a virtual MLB stadium, and the field size and defensive settings are automatically adjusted to match the hitter's age and skill level, allowing for mixed-age and skill teams. Games are six innings or 30 minutes long, whichever comes first, and all games are doubleheaders. The home team selects the field, and teams switch home/visitor roles for the second game. Throughout the season, league standings, as well as team and individual stats, are tracked. The season spans five weeks with 10 games, concluding with a week dedicated to a home run derby and playoffs. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams, adding excitement and competition to the season.

To join the HitTrax League, teams consist of 3-5 players. You can either register an entire team or sign up individually, where you'll be drafted onto a team. The league is designed to accommodate players of all ages and skill levels, as the size of the field and the difficulty of the defense are automatically adjusted to match the age of each hitter. This makes it easy to create balanced teams with mixed ages and abilities, ensuring everyone can enjoy the competition and improve their game.
